Arne was already a jury member of the Rhineland-Palatinate Design Award in 2021. From moving images to editorial design to exhibition concepts, outstanding projects are honored here by the Ministry of Economics.
And since of course a lot of corporate design for vintners is submitted there – and a serious juror naturally has to check design against content – the chief was often tired the morning after the sessions. This year, there were a conspicuously large number of entries from the confectionery sector; from fair trade chocolate to the finest confiserie, the poor jury was inundated with exquisitely packaged treats. Our usually well-disciplined founder apparently became a victim of his aesthetic consciousness and didn’t miss the opportunity to enjoy each and every submission with all his senses. This cost him four kilos of excess weight in the fall. But the sufferers are the team, who have since been forced to play speedminton after every lunch.
